Interesting trade. Carolina does have a ton of young defense. I wonder if they can pay both Pacioretty and Skinner.

They have the cap room and maybe with new majority owner will spend some. Would love to get Hanifin but don’t think they will trade him.

I just dont think this would help the Canes more than hurt us. While patchy is a great player and I'd love to have him we also have less than zero need for another goalie in our system right now. Giving up a promising top-4 LHD and a versatile player like Lindy for a guy with only 1 year left isn't a move GMRF is gonna make. If he was willing, we would have went after Duchene as a Center is much more a need for our team right now. Hanifin isn't going anywhere either.
