Kucherov in 2019/20

Description
Calgary has had some luck in the past getting RFA's from teams in cap trouble (Dougie Hamilton), so why not shoot big in a couple years when Kucherov will be an RFA. He's quickly becoming one of the top wingers in the game and he is going to get PAID. Its possible that Tampa will have trouble fitting him in and may want to move him for assets. Making salary cap room in 2020 shouldn't be too difficult, as the contracts you would like to move are in the last year of their deals (Brouwer, Stone). Stone should have a bit of value but Brouwer will likely be a true cap dump. Maybe this isn't enough to get Kucherov, maybe its too much. Calgary would have the cap space after moving out Brouwer and Stone to pay him up to 10M, but Treliving could maybe talk him don to 9M. I'm not to concerned about trading 1st round picks at this point, as I'm sure we're all hoping that Calgary will be a serious contender at this point. Also, with Brodie and Hamonic both up for new contracts, I'm thinking that they're only able to keep 1 going forward, which would allow the youth movement to start on defense.

Yeah zero chance of Yzerman dealing Kucherov they will lock him up for 8 years $72 million more then likely maybe even as early as this summer.

Talking finances, not lineup issues. Presumably he means if they sign Tavares I think
