Petry+Late 2018 1st round pick for Mantha not even close look at the return that Drouin netted Mantha or Larkin would net the same return.

wow... Drouin for Dubois... I would never have thought of that... I'd rather keep Drouin and try to put Galchenyuk in that deal... Or even Pacioretty, but I'm thinking Torts doesn't think much of Pacioretty since the world cup.

I think I would do Drouin for Dubois...

I Wouldn't say Robert Thomas is a second line center considering he is still in juniors. Pittsburgh would definitely say no and I don't think you get a first rounder with Dubois. Also you gave a lot for Montour.

Technically, the 1st round pick will not be a late one. More one between 12 and 18 I'd say. And DET really needs a RHD. Plus Petry is from Michigan.

It would actually make sense as you said CLB will not take in Paccioretty and Galchenyuk himself is not enough. I'd rather keep him then. It actually turns Sergachev into a centerman, which the tabs should have done in the first place. I really really like Drouin, but I like the idea of a centerman more than I like Drouin.

No I don't give up too much for a futur mobile defenseman with offensive upside.

Robert Thomas will be a number 2 centerman within 2 years. So I might be a year earlier. But still the return for Pacioretty is fair.

Drouin is the skill CLB lacks. Their window is open now and the first round pick is a really late one. I think they'd do that deal.
