Just an idea. Honestly don't know what Trocheck is worth, but this seems fair.

I would think Trocheck is essentially not available. The trouble with guys like these are that prospects are rarely going to match what the guys you are trading them for already offer. Vincent is in the top 25 over the last three years in points among centers. He's signed to a fairly low cap hit for the next 5 years. The only deals close to this recently are Johansson for Jones and Hall for Larsson. If a deal where to take place it should likely hinge around Letang, which I doubt the Panthers would be all that interested, nor the Penguins.

May be off base here but from an outside perspective, I don't think it would be too far fetched for FLA to ask for Murray in exchange for Trochek.

I'm sure they'd settle for Jarry+, but anyways Trochek is a really good player on a value contract with considerable term left

Actually Trochek has better numbers than Crosby. Why is Trochek worth so little but Cole so much?

Because pens fans...that’s why lol.
Why do pens fans want a top center that would be a 1st liner on most teams as a 3rd liner. And how this would be good for the team is beyond me? If I was him, I’d be ticked off being demoted to 3rd line.

Actually, I was going to give the post five stars, just because Hagelin wasn't traded to Arizona for a second rounder (cause he's speedy), but then I saw Cole in a dealSticking Out Tongue
