Okay, relax. You over valued OEL by a huge long stretch. Leafs will not give up Marner and Liliegren, when both have the potential to be superstars. Plus OEL value is extremely low right now, so just prospects would do.

Toronto isn’t giving you guys a guy that can hit 70 points, on an entry level contract; their best RHD prospect (on a team short of RHD); a 1st; a solid forward prospect; and a contract that isn’t a hinderance to the leafs anymore and one you’d need to get to the cap floor for a year and a half of OEL when their need is RHD not LHD

Major over-payment by the Leafs on the OEL deal, He wont be a TDL deal but a draft day deal. And there's no guarantee's that Ekman-Larsson would sign long term with the Leafs.
