Why would Washington make that deal? I'd rather keep Burakovsky than trade him and Orpik for Suter

Suter is going no where... sorry

Poile offered him more money and NSH was in the playoffs at a time MIN was a bottom feeder and Suter still chose MIN because he wanted to go back home and play for his home team and be the centerpiece of that rebuild. He's a Mad-town kid; his loyalties are with MIN (he will not waive to play anywhere). He's one of those guys money can't buy. Plus MIN is only a few pieces away from being a serious contender (so long as they lock up Dumba).

No! Suter is on a terrible contract. Bura is much more important to have.

I think Suter and Parise signed contracts that literally will keep them in Minny for the rest of their careers. They are untradeable. The amount of "if's" needed for one of them to be traded is beyond reckoning.

Have you ever seen a unicorn in the wild? Its basically the same % for those two being traded as that.
