Nash and Wagner both is overkill. Pick one. They will let Vatrano walk. Cross won’t get 3 years. Dobby pricey but it’s one year and might be what it takes if someone gives him a shot at potentially more PT. Rather get Chad Johnsonand save a million if thats the case. No on McQuaid over Miler. But pretty solid.

Got to read part 2 and it will make a little more sense... Wagner is inline to replace Acciari who will let walk once his contract expires. Overkill this season only because we have the cap space. Cross is career AHL'er only reason for resign. 1 year on Dobby with intent to replace him after that. Planning on replacing McQuaid with Miller next season as well...

I'm all about grabbing a guy like Wagner for 4th line center, but like GFN99 said, don't need both he and Nash. Honestly, would let go of Schaller, call up JFK and run a bottom 6 of:

Heinen -- JFK -- Backes
Kuraly -- Wagner -- Acciari

That 4th line would mow. Wagner is a great hitter and would be perfect with Acciari.

That 4th line would work just as well then resign Acciari in "...part 2" instead of Schaller in "...part 1"
