Also would think Gorts eats some $ on Nash if there’s so much cap space left, get a bigger return.

A couple Caps fans are suggesting Lucas Johansen and Andre Burakovsky for McDonagh and Grabner.

In three years, I think Johansen and Burakovsky will be better than McDonagh and Grabner, at the same positions, with lower cap hits, but the Caps' window is closing around then, so it's probably worth considering for both sides.

That's too much for Grabner. Make it a 1st/conditional 3rd (which becomes a 2nd if Grabner resigns with Boston or if Boston reaches the Stanley Cup Finals)/and Senyshyn for Grabner & McDonagh... not even sure if we have the cap space to make that happen...

Exactly my thoughts, especially now when SJS placed Jones an Thornotn on IR, they don't have team for playoff run, and Nash wouldn't change it (well they wouldn't have team for playoff even with them back imo).
