I like Wagner, but Carey isn't a need at all. Kuraly fills that role for the future. Also think you're overpaying them both. Lineup wise, Carlo up to the top 4, and Kevan Miller in for McQuaid (who may be a guy they move in the offseason, to get a little cap).
I'm all for Serron Noel, if he's there. What's up with all the Czech picks though lol. The draft is pretty far off so it's hard to really get a read on where guys will be etc. Here are some of the guys I'd like in the first and later. I'll just list the "later round guys" as they could go anywhere between 2nd and 7th.
First Round: Serron Noel, Dominik Bokk, Jett Woo, Jack McBain, and Rasmus Sandin Akil Thomas
Later Rounds: Jack Drury, Slava Demin, Riley Sutter, Austin Wong, Jake Wise, Anderson MacDonald, Albin Eriksson, Sean Durzi, and Vitali Krvastov.

So the title of this is "18/19 open it up to the kids (clear up cap space)"
From what I see you've added 1 kid (JFK) and plugged up two 4th line roles for the next two years, which could be used for kids.

Well he did give Bjork a permanent spot on Krejci's RW, but it's kind of a stretch since he played a decent amount of games here, this year. I'm not really seeing the space for young kids anyway, besides 4th line roles (which at the end of the day, the Bruins have been very particular on the style of player that they use there).

Like BreKel said there’s really no space for any kids up front besides jfk sliding into that 3rd line center role, only way we’d see some of the kids on the big club is if lauzon/zboril/Urho can beat out Miller/mcquaid/grizzy during training camp. The amount of potential depth we have moving towards the future is exciting to see
Czech Republic is where my international attention has been at the last few years. Obviously Dahlin and Boqvist have drawn my interest away from the Czech Republic, but we won't have a shot at either of them. Serron Noel is ranked 9th (NA skater) right now, 26th overall by hockeyprospect.com, 31st by ISS hockey, and 31st by future considerations, so I think there MIGHT be a shot at landing him. Skarek is the #1 rated European Goalie, and #2 rated Goalie overall by the above aforementioned. I won't dive deep into the later picks except I'll say that Hutsko has looked solid his freshman year at BC and has looked like there is a lot of upward mobility in his game.
Like BreKel said Boston likes to play a crash and bang game on their 4th line hence for the addition of Wagner and Carey. Both play a gritty 2 way game in all 3 zones, and they add a little bit more scoring depth than we currently have. Nothing against Schaller and Kuraly.
And finally Bjork and JFK were thrown into those roster spots to fill them, but who knows who will turn heads at training camp; it could be any number of players filling those roster spots, and as ngikas stated Zboril or Lauzon could still beat out Grzelcyk; DeBrusk could still get bested. No spot is really sacred except for the veterans we can't send down.
I really don't see what there is to be critical about in this mock up (except trading Schaller and Kuraly for Carey and Wagner, but either way those holes are plugged)...
