Realistic fans, know that the Leafs do not have enough cap or even the desire to resign JVR or Bozak. Still losing those two guys isn't that important to the Leafs, as the Leafs have to set their salaries for 2019/20 and beyond.

The trades. Gotta believe the Rangers could get a better deal from some team, maybe even the Leafs for McDonagh. Once Lupul was a Leaf in October, trading him now is irrelevant. Leafs don't need Nyqvist and Dermot is a Dman of the future (maybe even now). Rychel is strictly an AHLer, Rangers can do better than that deal for Grabner. AR is strictly an AHLer, sure the Leafs would like the second rounder, but do they really want to trade Komaro?.

"Toronto's Window is right now. If u don't realize that you are delusional". I would learn about the Leafs lineup and how the salary cap works before making such statements.

Sorry, real hockey fans, know that the Leafs real window isn't now or next year. It's only delusional folks who want to make endless trades that may think it. Fact: If the Leafs want to have zero performance bonus carry over into 2019/20 (which is probably ideal), the Leafs will have about 8m to sign UFAs in 2018/19. That 8m, includes the non resigning of JVR, Bozak and Komarov. Fortunately for Leafs, they do have internal replacements at the wings. Leave actually more cap flexibility in 2019/20 even with Matthews and Marner resigning.
hazard liked this.

If knew anything about the cap, and how performances bonuses and LTIRs affect the cap you might understand. Actually that McDonagh trade to the Leafs, is the only you have published that the Leafs would accept.
