To be honest I think both teams should just hold on to their respective players. They can both bounce back when their team does. Giving up on young players is how you screw your team sometimes.

I just thought that sometimes you only need a new start to move forward. Seguin might never have been the player he is today by staying with the Bruins...

I don't understand how Galchenyuk is a disappointment. He is second in points on a team that rarely scores, and is playing out of position. IF anything, its a disappointment that this organization have failed the eye test and stats test to see he is a center. Hell, he has even proven to be better defensively than Drouin.

People need to stop listening to Montreal media.

Reinhart isnt a dissapointment or a center. Playing him at center killed him. Hes back on his way up the past month

Seriously. Its the same crowd that says we should trade Pacioretty because he's no good/playoff/blah blah. Rather than focusing on what he DOES do, they only focus on what he doesn't. He's a 4.5M dollar 30+ goal scorer. But yeah ship him out. he doesn't score as much as Crosby does in the playoffs. What a bum.... rolling eyes

Galchenyuk is by no means a perfect player. He definitely has some work to do on the defensive part of the game but his offensive game is very good and considering MTL isn't in the position to just swap talented scorers away, I don't see why moving Galchenyuk for makes sense. Yeah Reinharts going to be a little cheaper and he may be a little better defensively but does he have 30 goals in him? Can he reach 60 points? Not so sure about that.

Galchenyuk isn't struggling, the management hes playing for is failing him. He is being mismanaged.

I still want to trade Pacioretty, but not because he sucks, but because he has the best trade value outside of Weber and Price, and I am hoping for a rebuild. I just don't want Montreal do go through the same thing as Canucks and Flames, waiting too late and their assets value depreciating.

Agreed here also! I don't want Pacioretty gone. Quite the opposite. I just can't stand when other fan bases assume because one guy is being shopped its because he sucks rather than us just trying to recoup assets while the players value is still good.

Its also frustrating when some Habs fans choose to sell low on a player because they don't know better. Equally frustrating.
