I like it, may be overpaying a bit though.

Agree, but don’t think the Pens think twice.

It's not enough. If it was, it would be done already. Start with Sprong+2nd and possibly more.

It’s more than enough and JR is pretty clearly waiting some teams out.

I've been over this: I have some inside info.

Pageau is JR's main target but the price is too high.(Sprong+1st+Small add).

Shaffer, your ‘inside info’ is clearly incorrect given that the package you’ve proposed is on par with (potentially more) than Duchene or Turris got their respective teams.

That MAY be the ask, but trades are a negotiation and not a hostage situation. We’ve been over this.

Source, please? At least a vague description of who your source is or your source does?

Did you see what Turris and Duchene got back? Turris= Kamenev+Girard+2nd, Duchene=Girard+Kamenev+Bowers+1st+2nd+3rd. Those are no where near Sprong+1st. It's okay if you don't believe my info, but that's your lose. I'm just trying to help out.

Inside info legitimacy aside.
The price for Pageau may be that high but no way should he get that for him from the Pens. The reason the price is that high is that Duchene didn't spur a turnaround for Ottawa and they need a good return to make up for what they gave up. If he gets something like from another team Dorion deserves a big pat on the back.
Ottawa will likely be busy February trading Hoffman, Pageau, Smith, and even Phaneuf is getting interest.
