Apparently the asking price for Kane is a young scorer and a first so I’d imagine that if you make the 2nd/3rd a first you’d have a deal here

Yup. He's already dirt cheap and there's no reason to move him unless the return is worth of a 20 goal scorer. A 1st is too much I would agree but I'd want the equivalent of a 2nd rounder and a prospect like Carrier. Otherwise there's no point in trading him. He'd be worth more to us than any return we'd possibly get.
