Initial Creation Date: Feb. 5, 2018
Published: Feb. 5, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If the NYR are rebuilding/retooling, why not make this one of the moves?

Get a 3C for next season while opening a spot on Defense.

CBJ has Murray on IR and Jack Johnson requesting a trade. They open up $150k in cap space and add a LHD that has played, and flourished, under John Tortarella before.

This would be in addition to DEFINITELY trading Nash, Grabner , Holden & Deshairnes ?
& MAYBE McDonagh & Zuccarello, (if someone is willing to meet the ask , can be done at the draft doesn't need to be the deadline.
Also, LTIR only really counts if a team is going over the cap, they don't get to just keep money.

Of course! This is just one of many trades I'd like to see!

Staal has played well this year. And why would they want a #3C getting paid like a #1C

Because we're getting rid of a 6D getting paid like a 2D
