I like this although I have some concerns with being overpaid in each trade. I'd really like to see them trade off Helm too. Trade him as a $2M/yr third-line center and free up the roster spot to have Larkin, Rasmussen, Nielsen, and Turgeon/Glendening down the middle next season after moving Z to the wing.

I would love to move Helm, but the reality is it would need to be done in the summer based on the above deals. A team can only retain salary on 2 players, so until Green is off the books, you wouldn't be able to retain salary for Helm. I think retaining 50% of the salary for Green is what allows you to net a late 1st round pick, which is more important than unloading Helm. A deal like that for Helm could be done in the summer.
