      I think the trade values are fine. It's just a risk giving up a 1st for Buff when he may not even resign, he's going to want huge money for 6 years and he's never been the fittest of players anyway. Could see huge decline in his play. I'd rather go get a cheaper younger guy like Cam Fowler, Sami Vatanen, Jonas Brodin or Matt Dumba. Even though they don't have the same experience or size of Buff they have great upside. I'm happy to give up Seidenberg, he's not the same guy after that injury. Still a decent player but not the kind of guy we need right now he's hindering the younger players development. The forward group is weaker too. Spooner isn't a winger, Hayes isn't a top 6 and the 4th line is still lightweight. I'd try get some heavier bodies for the 4th line.

      Spooner has been playing on the right side with Bergeron and Marchand recently because they are trying to see what life is like without loui, Heavier on the 4th line? I mean I guess you can call up Rinaldo but Randell is there its not like the NHL has full out brawls anymore, Randell is enough.
