I quite like it, though I don't really see either as likely. Vilardi is back from his back injury and in better shape than ever, scoring at a 2+ per game pace. I suspect you'd be in tough to get him at all, but even if LA were really serious about Max, it would be 2 pieces, not 3. (I don't consider Gaborik a piece).

The Winnipeg deal might be OK. I don't really have any sense of whether the two AHLers have NHL potential.

No thanks to Shaw. He is too pricey for the cap hit

I added Gaborik to the deal because I felt that made it realistic, they would be giving up alot to get Patches so adding in that awful Gaborik contract makes it doable at least IMO. Montreal is not going to be good for a couple years so having that **** contract doesn't hurt them very much. The Peg kids are just because montreal has no C's so they might as well take a chance on anyone and with the other guys currently with the jets these guys are never going to get a chance.

Winnipeg never does this. Never. Take out the first pick and maybe.

Pacman to Jets makes more sense to me.

L.A. needs to keep their pick to help with cap problems but Pacman for depth center , Valardi, and Gaborik might make sense.

I love the Jets trade but not sure a Jets fan would. MTL would ne to add more to have the 1st round pick included or lower the 1st round pick.
