Why trade Kruger in this situation? You have the money to keep him so why wouldn't you?

Panarin and Teravainen will need contracts the following season, and unless Kruger is accepting another on year deal, I don't think he'd fit financially.

Nice job on the Pronger deal, but I think the league prefers him to be on a team they own to prevent this type of cap massage. To get rid of Bickell, the Hawks will have to package a 1st or 2nd like the Devils did a long time ago.
