One man's trash

Created by: DD67
Team: 2015-16 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 2, 2016
Published: Feb. 2, 2016
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Assuming the thrifty Sens would want to dump Greening's contract. The move saves them about $400k; which is what it costs the Pens to bury him. Who knows maybe he's still better than Rust or Plotnikov.

Prince would add good forward depth to the bottom six. Could develop into a replacement for Kunitz in the long term.

Ottawa's D is so bad Ian Cole would actually really improve it. Sheesh.

Could be a really good move especially getting rid of Cole's contract altogether and then adding to the forward depth aforementioned. Prince is like another Sheary, small in size but holds good speed and decent set of hands and Greening would most likely stay in the AHL all the time.

Prince is 2" taller and 30lbs heavier than Sheary. He's not imposing but his size isn't a detriment like Sheary's. I could see him fitting in well and Ottawa has depth at LW.
