Patrick's a better fit for Pittsburgh's speed game than Evander, he's playing better this year, and Pittsburgh should totally take on the tail end of his ridiculous contract to get back into the playoffs and win another Cup this year. You're not going to find cap space for either by trading away injured guys, though. Just leave them on LTIR, don't activate them until the playoffs. That way you don't need to overpay for salary retention.
