So pretty much a "Late" 1st & 2nd round picks for McD, Thats a Big no from Rangers. Rangers don't need Toronto garbage.

Rosen and Borgman can play for your team for the foreseeable future. Carrick can be ok and Goat is kind of ass but he was a first round pick and still young so maybe he turns into a 3rd line center.

To make that McD work, Liljegren,Soshnikov,Leivo and your 1st&2nd rounder for McD, We're talking about a 28 year old All Star Captain with a low cap hit with 1 year and half left on it.

I don't know if you're understanding his point, it starts with a top prospect, and adds from there, LIljegren + 1st and start adding pieces, or Dermott + 1st + 2nd and start adding pieces. Pieces can include Leivo, Carrick, Soshnikov.
Root liked this.

Liljegren,Soshnikov,Leivo and your 1st&2nd rounder for McD???? are u serious? did Bobby Orr suddenly transform himself into Ryan McDonagh? yes he's 28, big deal, 4.7mil, ok..oh yeah wait a tick, HE'S GOT AN AVERAGE 38pts/yr OVER HIS CAREER. that's right 38, not 78 or hell even 58 for that matter, so you think the Leafs top defence prospect, 2 pretty good 40pt/yr pluggers 1st rounder in a deep draft, and 2nd for McDonagh???? what are you smoking? Travis Dermott right now is better than R.McD.
I wouldn't even pick up the phone if NYR were calling, but if I did, and using your players mentions, all id offer is Soshnikov and a 2nd, and that's being generous.

The most I'd offer is:
Carrick
Rosen/Borgman
Bozak 2.1 retained (easier to flip)
Both 2018 2nds (in a deep draft)
For McD

If they want the 1st they include Grabner and we include a 1st and 3rd and take out the higher 2nd.
