no way sharks give up O'regan

that CGY deal is a joke , Stepan moved at the trade Deadline got a 7th overall and a former top 20 pick
Bennett is a bigger bust then Yakupuv scoring just under 1% less on average .

Saad isnt worth bringing here and Shaw is our only good faceoff guys when plekky is gone with a proven history of mentoring youth centers and wingers into faceoff players .
look at Danault he never played Center i watched him here in Junior he was a 3rd line LW sometimes a 2nd line LW but that was his high point with his speed being ridiculous for Jr level .
Shaw worked with him for years and his first year playing more then 50 games center he took over 1000 draws with positive numbers

Saad brings nothing but size and goalie screening which we can get cheaper .
plus we paid two 2nds for shaw and now to move him you give them 4 total over 2 years ?
MTL fans would rally in a Mob outside the arena crying for blood

I dont think patches is worth a 1st, valimaki (1st round) and bennett (4th overall). Yes bennett has struggled but he still has upside. As for valimaki.... I really dont think cgy wants to trade him. Even for patches. There are goal scorers available that will cost less than 3 1st rounders.

of late?

he's 38% on his career for production

Yaku-bust is 39%

he's a full blown bust

Hes also 2 full years younger than yakupov... And plays on the 3rd line so i cant really blame him for having just under 20 points. Would i like more... Sure but until him and jankowski play with someone that can actually score. It will be hard to produce.

Also im fine with trading bennett its more valimaki i dont think cgy wants to part with. Him and andersson could be very very good players. Valimaki is a top 20 prospect in the league.

which is why the % what used not the point total because i knew you'd argue that like i am sure EDM fans did when you mocked Yaku-bust
Bennett is at best another like Sheahan who was 34% on his career. Detroit fans kept insisting he wasnt a bust but after DET missed a playoff and like that they wanted his head.
at bennets age Sheahan was 39% scoring average and it just kept declining each year slowly

it could be worse CGY could have selected Nylander instead :P (sarcasm )

Jankowski on the other hand isnt a bust he's a solid player he's just a big lad who doesnt hit and cant skate and an elite level so until he packs on 5-10 pounds and learns to hit or gets skating lessons his value is lower.
that being said his Faceoff ability alone as a rookie makes me want him 10x more then Bennet because he's at least seeing he doesnt fit the mold and carving out his own place .

Bennet on the other hand since his rookie year his production has consistently dropped at an alarming rate while being a worse faceoff center then most of our wingers playing center in MTL (plekky and froese are our only 2 centers right now , danault drouin ,byron and Hudon have filled the void on rotation for the other 2 due to injuries .)

add Jankowski over Bennett and i'd have said yes in 2.5 seconds because he's a smart player who is hungry trying to prove something .
Bennett doesnt have that heart .

You do know that some players take longer to develop than others right? Pacioretty at the same age as Bennett had 14 pts in 52 games. Valimaki has been putting up a point per game in the WHL. I even think that the first in 2019 is too much. Don’t be so quick to judge a player, same goea for Blake Wheeler, took a while becore he found his game

yes ones that dont decline all around at a consistent pace since their rookie year .

Bennet is a Bust
not Jankowski that guy is a Prize we'd love

comparing Wheeler to Bennet is absurd at his worst he still produced just over 50% consistency 12% more then Bennet
(plus Wheelers value is why they got Peverly from ATL who was clutch in their SCF Cup win in BOS stepping up when Horton went down so BOS was ok with the sacrifice )
