As a Hawks fan I would agree with you. Do you think being TDL moves...would make this acceptable?

WPG: AA is a solid 2/3 line center that scores 40 points. Derek Stephan went to the Coyotes for way more and is paid way more than AA he only scores 10 points more a season.
PHI: Hartman is a TWF that scores 30-40 points and is an RFA after this season. If Shaw can get two 2nds than Kempney and Hartman can get a 2nd and a prospect.

I don't see them trading Hino or Hartman though.

Hawks need to keep Hartman and Hinostroza because they're part of the future.

I'm not too keen on trading Anisimov, because this season has not been a reflection on the type a player he is, however i would trade him for the right return.

Also, I don't see any team giving up what it would take to pry Anisimov away - he's not even a "rental" so the team acquiring him would have to envision Anisimov as part of their future.

The only player on the Hawks roster that will just be traded if an opportunity presents itself is Seabrook.

In terms of fairness The deal itself isn’t terrible. I do believe it’s a slight overpayment. I’d be more comfortable giving a 2018 2nd Round with the a condition being if the jets make it to the cup final it becomes a 1st. Along with a 2019 2nd Round Pick with the condition of if the initial 2018 2nd Round Pick becomes a 1st Round Pick this Pick becomes a 2019 3rd Round Pick . So basically if they make the cup final it’s a 1st and a 3rd and if this condition isn’t met it remains two 2nds.

With that said I don’t think the jets would be interested in adding $4million + in cap for the next 3 years. With all their players that need to be resigned.

Just my thoughts

How valuable is Anisimov. Because IMO Anisimov

Edit: Meant to say Petan>Anisimov

It's weather or not the deal makes sense... Trading Anisimov "just because" doesn't make any sense, but if a team offered a 1st & good prospect then you think about it.

I mean if Carolina offered Marcus Kruger, Janne Kuokkanen & 2nd you think about it.

I don't expect Franson to be traded. A few weeks ago, nobody claimed him for free.
