Would be ecstatic if that deal w/Pitt were accepted, but know realistically they'd never consider. The other 2 deals I'm not as sold on, but applaud the creativity. With Nill being as patient as he is, my hope is he only pursues 1 deal, and that's to get a winger to play alongside Spezza for the stretch run. For this season, would like to see Shore be more of a depth player, and maybe a guy like Grabner could come in and provide better balance. If it works, re-sign him, if not move on after the season. That's been our one weak spot this season. I'm sure Nill is thinking along the same lines, but is waiting for the prices to come down.
