Not really interested in Nyquist. He doesn't seem to really be that upper 20's goal scorer that he showed potential of. The production from Spooner this year has been better and if we're going to take on a contract of 4.75 for 2 more years of Nyquist, why not sign Spooner for that? Also Nyquist's postseason numbers are atrocious. The guy produces like a regular season 4th liner on the big stage.

Take out Fitzgerald for Kempny and it's good.

Yeah i recognized his production has gradually fallen off but idk sometimes a fresh start is what a player needs. I basically made tht trade off of pure scoring touch and i think Nyquist has that more than spoons. You could put Nyquist with marchy and Bergy and you’ll probably see his numbers go up as guys like you and me could probably do with those two. And as in terms of contract it’s not a horrible price and he’s not locked in long term so if things don’t work out you can probably get that 4th round pick back at some point by moving him

Like this idea, Spoons is an extra piece that needs to be dealt. His good play of late ups his value, but Nyquist would be more of what Krejci needs on that line.
