The Habs would take that and run, but I'm pretty sure the Blues have said Thomas isn't available.

Why is Patches getting a better offer than McDonagh? Like by a lot lol. Rangers take the Patches deal too, and reject the deal they're getting.

you got Kostin and a 1st rounder are you high ?
that is the better deal , thomas is good but Kostins a pure goal scoring Russian and you get a 1st rounder in the deepest draft since 2003

i am baffled at your assessment as MTL would take your deal and run just as fast i mean Kostin-Chucky-Scherbak,Drouin-Danault-Gallager ***droools***

God please no! These two won't guarantee a Cup for STL but you sure did give away the entire farm system! NO to this trade!

5/5 because either team getting either deal wins

honestly i want Thomas but that Kostin deals legit to
putting Kostin-Chucky-Scherbak together is just to tempting .

Ah yes 5 goals in 42 AHL games Kostin is a goal scoring machine!!!!!

I'll take your deal thanks. Mainly for Dunn. But also Thomas. That's 2 pieces which are considerably better than anything in the other package.

you're high right ?

AHL first year for International players is about learning to not take dumb penalties as there is A LOT MORE Interferance from the League's in North America then any other outfit.
its why even a lot of top ranked prospects and players are asked to enter Junior in North America to increase their ranking in the draft by adjusting to the North American Game .

you'd have to be a noob for me to have to dumb this down

but i'll see you in a year when you realize what Klim brings
had he just been smart and played a year or 2 Junior here he'd be a lot more further along
as right now he's learning the fundamentals of our game style but given he's 18 and as big /fast as he is
the tools are all there and now he just needs experience

I never said Kostin was a bad player was bad. But he is inferior to Dunn and Thomas.

well yeah which is why no first or any picks go to MTL and we get a roster player.
Kostin unlike Thomas has been tested playing with men and until Thomas does he's still a risk
a lot of great players at the lower levels never made the jump , Brandon Sakic , Joe's brother was one of the greatest players to never make it .

to me

Kostin and a 1st >Roberts
Dunn>Gannarson
Sobotka >Musil and Fitzpatrik only because i dont like Fitz

but Musil is a solid center prospect that almost made it worth passing on the 30 year old Sobotka .
both sides win and lose some because we arent just going to split up their top 4 prospects and picks and walk :P

if you want get him to switch Sobotka and Musil MTL doesnt care if you want an established 3rd line center we got tons of those
but Musil has promise and could be a top 6 so we'll take the gamble .
