alright you completely lost me. this is as confusing as it is nonsensical.

let's start listing the contracts that won't be signed
-Neal (term, wants a contender)
-Hinostroza,term. 1 year @1,2M
-Duclair signed a better deal and held out for it last year
-Hartman, term way too long
-Hanifin: please look up how RFAs work

you then continue to throw around freshly signed assets wildly for outlandish returns (Abdelkader for Huberdeau? wtf?) or that are completely alien (what train of thought went into the DiDomenico deal? why wouldn't Edmonton just sign him if they wanted to dowengrade so many picks for him?) etc pp.

just throw it into the trash and forget you ever made it

laugh laugh Noah Hanifin is salary arbitrary this year, No way is he only getting $1 million per probably closer to $6 million per at the very least.

Thanks for the comment, honestly I am still new to this and also still trying to understand the whole free agency thing. I just got interested in the free agency last summer. I feel your comment is very constructive and I would appreciete it if you post comments on any of my new teams that I will publish in the future , as for this team in general, I'm not going to lie, I bullshitted some of this, so that is my explaination on the roster. And also I don't even know if I'm actually replying right now so if you could tell me if I am, I would greatly appreciete.

alright, here's a heads up on RFAs: restricted free agency means basically that you can't just sign this player - the current team holding the playrers right has the primary right to negotiate a contract with that play, which would be the Hurricanes. if another teams wants to sign him, a so called offer sheet has to be issues - meanign you CAN make a contract offer, but depending on the salary offered you would have to pay draft picks to that team as compensation for signing their player. the team is also allowed to "match" that contract - this means that they can choose to offer the player the same contract and the player can't accept another teams offer before the one of his own team. this gives teams a lot of leverage with their young players, meaning they often stay with their respective teams until they hit UFA status (usually around age 27, the exact requirements are tied to pro experience). in this case, Hanifin wouldn't bother to accept this and even if he would, Carolina would easily match this.

Thanks for the information. What you have told me is deeply noted and I would use this now prior knowledge in later teams that I will do
