Description
MLive is reporting that Detriot wants TB's 1st round pick for Green but Detroit's backup plan is a 2nd and a player who can join Detroit's roster next year. Which player is most appealing? (I excluded Gourde as a possibility because if available, I think that would be the pick)

Honestly Holland would seek one of either Hajek, Erne or Raddysh on top of the 2nd for Mike Green @ $3 million more then likely.

I didn't include Hajek or Raddysh in the poll question because I personally don't believe they will be NHL ready next season and the article stated "a player who can join their roster next season."

It'd be nice if they could agree on a conditional second that becomes a first if TB reaches the conference finals or something like that...

Good point i know Holland wants an NHL ready prospect but at the same time i can definitely see him wanting Callan Foote and he wont be ready either at least not next season unless they bring him up any ways as of this coming season Detroit will be adding the youngsters. A 2nd+Erne will probably be the likely return but if i'm Holland i'm definitely holding out for Foote.

Howden would be sweet but i can definitely see Holland asking Yzerman for either Hajek or Foote he'll want one of the D prospects more then likely.

Oh for sure Detroit should ask for Foote. I don't believe Yzerman would pull the trigger on that trade. Also Idk if you have had the chance to watch Foote this year with the Rockets but he really needs to work on his skating. Putting him in the NHL next year would not be the best for his development IMO.

I'd do Green with half his salary retained for a 3rd and Raddysh. We only have 2 wingers in our system who are close to the NHL (Svechnikov and Pope) and both shoot left. We're desperate for Top-6 talent that shoots right.

Honestly as a Wings fan i'd be happy with either Slater KoekKoek or Jake Dotchin along with a 2nd round pick watch both in Tampa and i like either over what we've now in Detroit.
