Simple deadline moves

Description
Rangers initial ask was for 1st round pick. They are rumored to have changed the ask to a 2nd rounder and top prospect. Sprong and a 2nd next year for them to retain salary. Before you get upset, ask yourself why guys like Aston-Reese, Simon, and Blueger and getting called up over Sprong. He's still struggling to do anything but score, and he has been mediocre since returning to the AHL.

Sheary is a salary dump to open up space for the moves. It could be Sheary or Hunwick, but adding two forwards, Sheary doesn't have a good place in the lineup. Would rather keep the defense depth as well.

Kuhnhackl is the same situation. With Aston-Reese up, when Hornqvist and Kuhnhackl are healthy, adding Grabner and Letestu puts Pittsburgh over the roster limit of 23. Trade Kuhnhackl instead of waiving and losing for nothing.

No to Letestu. Sheary should and will stay, IMO. Also getting rid of Sprong hurts.

Although the trades seem fair, I doubt Rutherford parts with Sheary and Sprong
