Description

Tampa remains stacked with prospects, giving up 2 late top 30 1st round picks. 3 high end prospects, and 2 nhl ready young players. Makes senses and maybe the most pieces Ottawa could get. Nic predicts Karlsson is 100% getting moved at deadline at his highest value, or draft at a lower value because of not as long of a contact left.

Nic is an insider and this is an accurate trade he has heard rumblings of. The only other team who may have the value to make a trade is NYI, Columbus, or Calgary.

With almost everyone except namestikov signed for next year this is like a 2 year window of going for it for Tampa. In 2 years they have to sign kucherov and probably let Karlsson walk but take your shots and why not. This team is good enough and 2 years of Karlsson isn't going to kill them. I like it if I was Tampa you can haggle some details but why not. Come on stevie go for it!!!!!

I think there's no way this trade happen unless you inculde Sergachev. I'm not saying you have to give those player + Sergachev but you have to remove some and add Sergachev. I think Ottawa want to be a middle team next year since they are going to lose their 1st round pick to COL. So going all-in on young prospect is bad for ottawa I think.
