Additional Details:

Ottawa wants badly to get rid of this contract. In order for it to work they would have to take Beleskey's contract in return. Less of a cap hit for them and less years and who knows he might find his game in Ottawa.

OTT

Additional Details:

There is no doubt in my mind that Bobby Ryan would be at least a 30 goal scorer every year on a line with Bergeron and Marchand. And Bergeron would be a career changing influence for Ryan. Come on Boston, do this. Big risk...big reward.

Appreciate your faith in Ryan though it might be unfounded, Ottawa would trade Ryan for Beleskey straight up just to get rid of Ryan and his contract.

Why is BOS going to bail OTT out and take on a terrible contract like Ryan? By far the most mind boggling ACGM for the Bruins I've ever seen. You just put this team in a spot where they may not be able to sign all their young players in the next few years.

Kind of wish they did this then the trade that they made for Nash. Like Nash but Ryan is younger and can be more of an impact player. And Ryan wouldn’t be a rental.
