    Vegas: Ryan(50%), Callahan, 2nd, Strålman, 2019 1st
Sens: 1st, two 3rds, Katchouk, Raddysh, cap space, Dotchin, Koekkoek
Tampa: Pirri, Karlsson, Stone, throwaway pick

First off: Why would you unload Callahan and Strålman? It makes zero sense for you to retain on Ryan's deal when Vegas has the space. Also, Stone to Tampa makes literally zero sense. You don't need more forwards. And that package to Ottawa wouldn't even get you both of them even if unloading Ryan in the same deal.

Your trade for Karlsson is far from the reality. First, because Stone is not available. Second and the most important, Dorian would be laughing about what you offer for Karlsson and Stone. Even acquiring Ryan and his terrible contract.

ROFL this is a garbage proposal, the Sens are not including Stone in any Karlsson trade and if they did the return would sky rocket.

LMFAO. What a horrendous proposal. Even Cheap ****, Melnyk and Dope-head Dorian aren't this stupid.

    Also, it's "couldn't care less."

That package doesn’t even get you Stone, let alone Karlsson

Ottawa laughs. Why the **** would we retain on Ryan? Also, giving up Koekkoek, Dotchin and Stralman makes our defense look very slow after 3 guys. Looks worse IMO minus the top pairing. Hedman or Karlsson go down and youre ****ed

I think Ottawa considers this for the same reason they consider moving Karlsson in the first place: to remain profitable while rebuilding, and to accelerate that rebuild.

I'm not from any of these three towns, but I appreciate some things about each team. Just trying to use Brassard as a benchmark for how this trade deadline is going.

As a fan of a different team in the Eastern Conference, I think the whole thing stinks.

Did you think Vegas didn't want to beat you in the finals?

Honestly Eli... that Ottawa trade is some hot garbage... Mark Stone is arguably a Top 10 winger, and will likely command 7+ million. EK is considered the best defenceman in the league by some. and Bobby Ryan isn't that much of a dead weight to A.) bring the value down for Ottawa to the point where you just throw a couple borderline NHLers and bad picks for a package with EK and Stone, also B.) trading Ryan to Vegas to get a peanut while retaining money you don't have, and giving up Stralman and a great future pick.

If Yzerman wants to get EK extremely badly the offer needs to start with Sergachev or Point and add onto it from there... But honestly I see 0 way for a deal like that to work for EK from Tampa's perspective as both those guys will be valuable pieces to Tampa's continued success

Bobby Ryan is on pace for thirty points. Erik Karlsson is pushing for Mr. Futility. Ottawa isn't trading them as a package without a sweetener. Pointing out that Stone's next contract might be 7M/yr just makes it clearer why Melnyk green lights this deal over Dorion's objections and/or resignation.

honestly if he is making 7M (Ryan) and gets 30 points thats fine... totally not worth the contract I understand, but throwing Katchouk and Raddysh (both borderline NHLers... I see them being Top 9 guys) + a late 1st + 2 late 3rds and 2 decent NHL defenceman doesn't make me want to scream firesale from Ottawa's standpoint. Plus giving up futures + Top 4 defenceman + enough salary retained to make Stone a rental for a 7th is stupid... whole trade here is bad.

Stone is also one hell of a sweetener... like arguably the best player on the Sens this year.

No sense arguing with you... haven't seen you post a single trade that has gotten higher than 1 star
