I’d say EDm passes but Chiarelli is a moron so.....anything can happen.

Giving up assests with term and a top 5 pick for OEL who will leave them in a year is not in their best interest.

Then again....Chiarelli.....

Need to take out Strome, the 4th, and add the Coyotes 2019 1st as a Condition in case OEL doesnt resign.

Why would the Coyotes even consider trading OEL until the draft when they know where they'll pick and OEL can sign an extension with the acquiring team as part of the trade?

Unless they get a significant overpayment, there's really no reason not to be patient for 4 more months.
