Spooner auction: minimum starting bid = any 2018 2nd

Rules: auction ends May 3rd 11:59pm
Only 2018 picks count
Only b or better prospects count: to be a b prospect a player must have been drafted in the first 3 rounds or a late pick who has risen dramatically since being drafted.
I hold sole discretion of value judging unless a case of very similar value which would indicate a tie. In result of a tie, the person who offered that value first is declared winner. Any bid that meets the starting criteria can win if not outbid. He will be sold to highest bidder even if only one bid is established as long as the starting criteria of a 2018 2nd has been met or exceeded.

First off, do you have a ufa slot available? Because he’s unsigned until the next window...

Secondly, i’d Want more than a 2020 3rd that basically won’t come to fruition because the game will be restarted by then and a medium prospect. Bitten is alright but i’d Rather just get a 2018 2nd.

I’m not against trading Nash Vatrano or spooner, but I believe they are all adept players who have a unique skill set that makes them great. Nash plays very exceptional defense imo.

Are you trading Donato? I wouldn’t mind having him back. The gm before me traded him. I could offer nash+ Something of value.

If I gave up a 2nd and Nash i’d Want to get donato + bitten. I don’t feel like donato is worth the value of a mid first. He had an incredible amount of momentum and confidence following the olympics. He was going to do great no matter what so I don’t put a ton of stock in his performancethis season. He’s on the bench now because he’s not good enough to play. He got a game and was lost, so he got pulled.

I’m not looking to move those players.

Those picks are also basically worthless to me if v3 starts and v2 turns into another unmoderated v1 with no boe. I will not play v2 anymore if this happens, I would either reluctantly move to v3 or quit altogether so these pick hold no value for me.

If you wanted to bid donato as a starting bid, I would consider it more than the starting bid of a 2nd so you’d be pretty far ahead. I’d hold off on that if I were you though until atleast someone had bid a 2nd.

I believe it was a 2018 2nd + Hughes and Johansson.... that’s fine with me. I trust the bruins made a better pick than I would.

For me I want to have atleast one 2nd in the draft Incase someone good falls. It will be fun to participate in too so I like that deal. The other deal where I gave up more picks wasn’t great, but donato vs 2nd + Hughes + Johansson is likable because we both end up having a shot at a player just outside the top 50 picks.
