Yes, though there was no 3-way trade with 4 trades in 1 last year. This has been a weird trade deadline so far because there was also the Letestu thing.
Edit: Wasn't there also a football player who got traded twice recently? Didn't he go from the Stampeders to the Roughriders then from the Roughriders to the Tiger-Cats? idk too much about football, but i believe this happened recently.
It would be nice to see because Cole was a Penguin a few days ago. Just a little extra rivalry now.
Yeah, i know that was what you were saying but it would be a rematch of last year too. Actually, both go together good because it would be the same series 2 years in a row but Cole would be on the Jackets this time instead of the Pens. Also, this series could happen maybe if PIT wins the division and maybe CBJ is the 1st WC team (if Tampa/Boston/Toronto finishes 1st in the East (in the regular season obviously)). Or also, if PIT gets 2nd and CBJ gets ahead of PHI and NJD with WSH 1st then it could be a 2 vs. 3 series in round one. Also, it wouldn't have to be round 1, would it? But then it might make it a bit more of a rematch if it is.

Last summer Charleston Hughes got traded from the Stamps to the Ti-Cats (the Stamps needed some cap room) and then got flipped to the Riders about 15 minutes later, as you said. He was one of the best players in the league last year too. I believe he had almost 15 sacks as a defensive lineman.
Scrolling through old trade threads is fun.
Penguins not won anything without Cole for a reason... He was good for Avs vs. Sharks in playoffs too really working them over getting away with lots of penalties too . He has enough grit/skill to really get in the corners or make the vital plays people don't appreciate ...
