idk, maybe i'm just saying this cause i'm an Islanders fan but even though Chimera's older i'm a bit surprised they did that.

Really just looks like a Cap Dump to me, Chimera has no future, the spot that opened up for NYI can go to a younger player that will hopefully grow into it

I don't get it. But nice work Isles.

Wagner is an underrated bottom 6 guy imo. To me this is two fold for the Isles, a salary dump and a productive body in the bottom of the lineup.

I mean, i guess the Isles have experience on forward so it's not a bad deal for them i guess. i take that back.

Looks good for Isles, but the ducks should have gotten a pick in return. A late pick, like a 6th for Wagner and then took the contract of Chimera.

I'm also surprised they moved him. Not gonna complain though.
