seems realistic.
Although I don't think Boqvist will be ready to step in right away.
Maybe Valiev will be able to impress enough to keep him around the big club.
I also think Stastny is gonna want a lot more - but you've got the cap space to do it.

Max Pac can bring back more (A prospect + 1st). A perennial 30-35 goal scorer doesn't come cheap.
If we can get Boqvist it would be awesome!

I also question Boqvists chances of sticking. But his game sounds purely offensive, so if the coach understands that and pairs him with someone responsible, maybe he makes the jump right away (anything is better than this years defense prior to Rielly/Juulsen joining).

I think Stastny has fallen off abit, but yeah, I don't mind paying a little more. But if that happens then try for less term.

this is probably the most reasonable Pacioretty proposal I've seen on here. still not sure I'd do it if I'm the Islanders though

Patch might bring back more. But he is coming off a poor season, and it looks like he will be injured for the remainder of the year. So that might bring down the price some teams may want to pay. And the only way I see him bringing in a good return is with an extension in hand. Montreal shouldn't have let it get this far if they knew he had to go.

Hopefully Montreal doesn't drop any further in the draft, but if we do, then BPA might be any one of the centers that appear around 9-12 in the rankings.
