Hopefully by that time you won't have to sign a "Good Goalie". Hopefully Hart will be ready to take over

1 year in the AHL isn't enough for Hart IMO. Bringing a goalie into the NHL as a starter before he is 22-23 hasn't worked all that well in the past. I want to see 2 years and then into the starters role so that would be the 2020/2021 season.

Hoffman worth really more than the bunch of draft bust you give and the second

Draft busts? Laughton is a solid bottom 6 player. Stolarz has been hurt all year but was solid when called upon last year. Morin will be a solid 4/5 defencemen. Ottawa needs solid young players like this that are inexpensive but can fill out a roster.

I think Wade Allison will have made the team over Mike Vecchione.

I think the main piece going back in a Hoffman trade has to have more upside than Morin. Maybe Sanheim or Frost and then smaller adds. Just basing off of all the times that Sens fans said it had to be Fabbri, Kyrou, or Dunn and a 1st for the Blues to start talks about Hoff...

But the problem is that those players were suppose to be better that they are now and Morin will never be a 4-5 a 6-7 but he doesn’t have the rapidity to go up and be a good player

Honestly anyone can be in that spot. Same with LW, not sure if Ratcliffe would be there or not, he might be used as trade bait now that Frost has shown immense potential.

Morin will be a 4/5, you can count on that. I added a piece to the trade, adding anymore would be stupid.

Ya, Ottawa's asking prices are ridiculous which is why they are going to lose Karlsson for nothing..

Regarding Hoffman, the Flyers balked at the starting price of Sanheim and a 1st round pick. There is no reason to think GM Hextall will move from that position. GM Dorian has time to sit on Hoffman and wait for a deal he likes, but it's highly doubtful with the Flyers if Sanheim, Myers, or Frost are part of any deal. As I understand it, Melnyk is forcing Dorian to go cheaper, which may limit is trade offers and potential returns. I don't see much benefit of adding Stolarz to the mix for OTT since they have two NHL goalies for another 2 seasons, unless they can trade one, like Condon.

Regarding Karlsson, the only way this works out is if he can pull off a move like Sakic did, but OTT GM won't have the time luxury that Sakic did with Duchene. He likely won't get the return he could have gotten at the 2018 Trade Deadline.

I don't see Hextall moving Sanheim for anything. I think my trade above of 5 young pieces though should be more than enough. Stolarz would be a solid backup for OTT, they could likely trade Condon for a pick of some sorts to a team in desperate need of a backup.
