JVR will be looking for more term or more money, try 6x6 or 5.5x7

Max Canes can offer is a 7 year deal, but I agree with you that he would want more term.

Isles trade is pretty nice

Why is Pitt moving Jarry and giving up a 4th for a throw away prospect?

That’s a big no there

He’s not on the block and has been a solid young goalie.
Gunna probably have to overpay, and def not underpay like that

Unless you wanna offersheet and take a big risk. Pens probably going to extend him at under a million AAV

Your argument is flawed on many levels, but thanks for the one star.

"Throw away prospect": Roland McKeown is a former second round pick who is an excellent skater with leadership qualities who happens to be a right shot defenseman, a highly valued commodity that Pittsburgh also happens to need. He's NHL ready, but just doesn't have a place on a stacked Canes d-corps.

"Gunna probably have to overpay": Teams don't typically get big returns when trading unproven goalies like Jarry, so the Pens would be happy to get an even younger asset who uh, getting to another flawed argument...

"Pens probably going to extend him at under a million AAV": McKeown is making $745,000 next year. So yea, cost-controlled asset.
