This is crazy. Also, Brady Tkachuk isn't really a centre, especially at the NHL level. He plays mostly wing.

After Lottery, trade Tkachuk’s pick (whatever # that would b, but I know it’s not top 3) for Jankowski and Calgary’s 1st round pick (prob between 18-23 or something). U can add a little more if u feel thats not enough.

Everyone who says that Monaghan is worth more than a first from Montreal is wrong. When you think about it, Montreal’s first is top 5 which is equivalent to Monahan

Nah i ain’t crazy Calgary is saving 6M$ for the next 3 years. They get another Tkachuk (Brady is better than Matthew) Montreal gets there Number 1 center who is still young and has an accepetable contract. Calgary can now be also in the race for Tavares

The Blues doesn’t have their pick this year. They have the jets so 20 to 28 pick....... plus they will need to give back salary (not enough cap space for everybody or really tight)
Montreal has Top7 First round pick and doesn’t need to give back a contract

Actually if the Blues get in the top 10 they keep the pick and defer to 2019, which seems likely at this point depending on the lottery. Also, Blues do have the cap room next season for Monahan and don't need to get rid of anybody.

The hole idea was for them to get Tkachuk MTL has a higer chance to draft him then STL plus the Blues have a lot of good prospects Robert Thomas Kyron ..... so you need to find yourself a better G. We Have Price if you want XD

Kyrou will be a winger in the NHL. That's where he's had his most success in the OHL.
Firstly, Calgary won't even trade Monahan. Secondly, if a trade like this were to happen it would happen after the top 14 were established

Your selling Monahan for peanuts. A legit number 1 center and getting better. He isn't 30 so trading him for a guy 3 years younger and hoping he is as good as the guy you already have is ridiculous. Calgary is trying to win now not 5 years from now. Yes tavares is a better player but at 6 million more than Monahan it just doesn't fly

The only one i see 100% beeing drafted at a certain position is Dahlin (#1) other than that we don’t know what the team like and want

Still Tkachuk should be drafted at either #5 or #6 either way Calgary wont be picking in that neighborhood at best maybe in the #10 range if that.
