BUF
  1. Bellows, Kieffer
  2. Mayfield, Scott
Additional Details:
2018 1st (NYI) - 10 OA

Why? Bellows-Mittelstadt connection. Potential for BUF to draft Brady Tkachuk as well?
2.
EDM
  1. Ho-Sang, Joshua
  2. Nelson, Brock
Additional Details:
2018 1st (CGY) - #14 OA

Why? Chiarelli stated he wants someone who can skate with McDavid. Ho-Sang's speed and dynamic playmaking ability fits that bill. I am assuming that EDM trades RNH for winger help, so Nelson helps alleviate that hole at C. Talbot is entering the final year of his contract, not sure what his long term status is in EDM. But, he would definitely help stabilize the Isles G situation for next year.

That'd be nice but it would decimate the Sabres D

That's exactly the point I was trying to make, glad you caught it. I should've made it more clear.

thats not enough for klebom alone - maybe the 10th overall and nelson and ho sang - probably have to add at least another first to get talbs too

Ya I think the islanders are fleecing teams here. Buffalo isn’t giving up a top pairing defenceman for two prospects, not when he is entering his prime

Whom ever? I like Jett Woo, Boqvist is dropping, they could take another forward. The only players they couldnt take are the 9 that got picked prior

He is the closest thing they have though, he plays 28 minutes a night on a very bad team with no support. Add the fact that he is only 26 and he might be paired with Dahlin next year and that makes him pretty much untouchable imo

being buffalos top pair dman isnt saying much, he might be their top 2 but hes far from a legit top 2 dman

I think he is closer than your presuming. On just about any other team he would be on your top pairing. And I would still put him in the top 20 in the league, plus he is still young for a defenceman. They don’t really hit their prime until 26 or 27
