If that's what you think then more power to you. Its a bold prediction, but then again those are right in your wheel house grin

Well, i don't see how Arizona wouldn't win the cup, so they're my pick, lol

Edit: Agreed?

Odds as of 3/12/2018 IMO

1. Tampa Bay (this is our playoffs to lose)
2. Nashville
3. Shitburgh
4. Vegas
5. Winnipeg
6. Washington
7. Boston
8. Anaheim
9. Toronto
10. Philadelphia

Pretty realistic.

Sorry I don't pay much attention to who likes what or what they find funny.

Truth is once the playoffs start its a different animal. How many years have the Caps been one of the best regular season teams, but then they struggle in the playoffs? Last year Nashville was a Wild Card team and they made the SCF...the Kings won the Cup from the 8 seed. In the last 5 years only once has a #1 seed made it to the SCF. That's why I said there are 16 teams.

Here are basically my top-three teams from each conference

West - Nashville, Winnipeg, Vegas
East - Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Boston
Bubble - Washington, Anaheim, Minnesota, Toronto

That's actually why i said there are more than 16 teams, because of teams like the Kings in 2012 and the Preds last year.

But there's only 16 teams that make the playoffs

I know, but we still don't know who all the 16 are ... and i'm not talking about who mathematically still has a chance at the playoffs, because mathematically, Arizona still has a chance at the playoffs, but realistically they don't. So, realistically, the Hurricanes, Panthers, and Islanders are all still in IMO (the Isles are almost out but not quite), and then in the west, Anaheim, Calgary, and St. Louis still have a chance at the playoffs. Do you get what i mean?

Tampa is the best team for sure and going by stats, they have the best chance to win. But remember Vancouver in 2011...? There's more examples of the best team losing, but I put in my vote for Anaheim. I'm expecting them to be the biggest upset, even though I'd TOTALLY rather not see them anywhere near the finals. I'm a fan of the Blues, Canes and Isles but even though it pains me to say that I don't see the Blues or Isles past the second round, I could see a Canes fairy tale run. Or maybe that's just my delusional thinking of a sad Canes fan.

I'm a Rangers and Isles fan (as you can tell by my name), though i don't even have the Isles in the playoffs. They're not 100% out of it yet IMO, but they're pretty close. And i mean realistically even they're not out yet, but it won't be easy at all. I don't think they make it. The Blues and Canes (and Rangers) all miss IMO. I mean, STL and CAR are still playoff contenders but i think they both miss by a bit. The Blues could be pretty good next year though.

The Blues could, but i don't think they will. I'm giving them about a 40% chance or so at the playoffs.

Pens are three-peating. You heard it here first.

Ugh, I wish. But really, I think Boston wins it all.

I hope the Penguins don't win it this year.
