It will be nice if Rasmussen is ready to play on the second line next year.

Why wouldn't this team work on selling off those defensive contracts? It doesn't matter what they get, dumping that salary is ideal

Only problem is Daley has a full NTC until like 10 days before the 2019 Trade Deadline, Danny DeKeyser has a full NTC until 2021, Ericsson has a 19 team no trade list so he can waive to 11 teams. Hoping that Kronwall hangs it up this year. Jensen could be waived if not traded. The only problem is Holland is killing us with these NTC/NMC.

I don't mind the moves I just think AA is a wing. I'd stick with Z at center as a facilitator for some young guys to bring them along. AA sticks with Larkin and Z slides back to the middle and centers Svech and Ras. Neilsen with Nyquist and Bert. Turgeon replaces Glendening fine. If some youngsters (i.e. Bert, maybe Mantha) need kickstart or confidence throughout the year throw them on Z's line for a couple weeks and it seems to get guys going. I get that Z is diminishing and slowing down but he's the captain and the team leader who can still teach kids how to play and I just don't see a drastic roster improvement by moving him to the wing in favor of anyone on the roster. About the time he's hanging it up hopefully Ras is ready to slot in at center.
