trade for a better goalie or sign a free agent!

You didnt sign a lot of the Sabres Free agents (rfa and ufa), josefson was signed to an absurd contract. Why is Mittelstadt not getting a max contract as well. He should be at center but the LW depth was not addressed here. Nylander should not be on the main roster next year, but again 0 LW depth. Asplund also wont be on this team, if he is signed he'll be in roch, but he's probably stuck in the SHL for another year.



Lehner is a good goalie and Ullmark is a great prospect. This is one of the few bright spots on this roster. Unless they move Lehner they dont need to sign or trade for any goalie

I think if you're within 3M of the salary cap with a team that's been the doormat of the East, you're overpaying someone.

I'm not exactly sure which player it is, really it could be anybody, but the names, Pominville, Okposo, Beaulieu, Bogosian, and Reinhart, spring to mind. Oh, right, and Jack Eichel. 10M per year and has yet to break twenty-five goals or sixty points? About 40% on faceoffs and negative double digits each year on plus minus, with increasing offensive zone starts as he progresses into a bigger liability? Ouch. Trade that guy, first, and rebuild.
