Still got a month to go. Its a complete guess, as of right now. Plus add in the lottery, wouldnt even matter where they finish inside the top 8, it could all change easily

True just going by actual position as of now, Detroit has a pretty brutal schedule here in March, They're already on a 7 game losing streak with 13 more games to go. Detroit might not win the rest of this year they might wind up with a 20 game losing streak the way they're playing now.

The Tim Schaller signing is very intersting , however the Toews trade is i dont know enough to scare hawk fans away ! Brady Tkachuk sounds appealing i how ever think Joe Veleno ! and Maxim Shalunov ive heard good things but i doubt he signs

Im super leery of Veleno, when everywhere i read calls him high risk high reward, with his injury last year. Hes producing, but taking Tkachuk at 5, Dobson is a safe solid pick and is a good prospect for another position of need. Shalunov is in his first year of his new KHL deal, but is getting up there in age. IMO its now or never for him to make the jump

It is High Risk High Reward , Veleno in a Hawk Uniform learning from Toews , I think its a no brainer , if not him I agree with you Brady Tkachuk ! the Shalunov thing wont happen !

What is your Estimate of years it would take for Tkachuk to get nhl ready ?

If they werent rushing him 1-2, i could see him playing as an 18 year old on a team desperate for LW depth though
