I'm taking Vegas.
They've defied all expectations and odds, why wouldn't the Cup be within reach?
Don't underestimate just how much adversity can motivate a team - especially when you've been successful in defying adversity.
I realized the Hawks would win the Cup in 2010 early in the season when the Hawks gave up 5 goals to Calgary in the first period of a game, then they came back to win in OT 6-5... The Hawks only then realized nothing could stop them from winning so from there on out they were confident they could overcome anything.... It was a very interesting moment in this franchises history. I think Vegas has been in that "moment" all season.
So with that said.
WCF: Vegas vs. Nashville - Vegas in 6
ECF: Tampa Bay vs. Washington - Tampa Bay in 7
SCF: Vegas vs. Tampa Bay - Vegas in 5
William Karlsson scores in double OT in game 5 to win it for the Knights.
2018 Stanley Cup Champion: Las Vegas Golden Knights.
