Going off of last year's tradebait board, 80-90% were traded by this years deadline. Going along with Melnyks retool/rebuild letter and this years tradebait board, you can assume Karlsson, Hoffman, Smith Pageau and Ryan will be gone by the 2019 trade deadline (give or take one of them).

Somehow incorporate Gusev into the return for Karlsson and make CGY, EDM, and OTT have a three-way trade and acquire the same players. Otherwise, this is a great rebuild.

Wow that was a bad misspelling of Melnyk!
Assuming Ott gets a 6th or 7th in the Ryan deal, these trades arent too far off, but maybe some. (Also assuming Karlsson resigns with Vegas.)

Fixed spelling and looked up Gusev, kids looks legit but it's a wonder if he will come over. Also Sens have had bad experiences with Russian players, although I think its high tide we got over it. Getting Gusev will cost us another pick minimum
