Bowman traded Hjalmarsson for cap reasons... I would love to have Hammer back and I'm sure Arizona would love Hossa's contract..

Hossa & Forsling for Hammer isn't too bad - especially when Hammer will split the second he gets the opportunity which will be in the summer of 2019.. Maybe the Hawks need to add a second round pick tho.

I could absolutely see Hjalmarsson being a TDL acquisition by Bowman tho..

      ARI also gets Oesterle.

I wouldn't trade Oesterle... I think Oesterle is very underrated... He's the perfect partner for Keith, because he's very similar to Keith.

      Keith-Oesterle
      Hammer-Seabrook
      Moore-Rutta
      Murphy-Gustafsson

A defense like that would look real nice going into next season. That defense is superior to what we have now and what we have now is a gong show. What the Hawks have presently are a bunch of dummies that think they're NHL defenseman.
