I personally wouldn't do this if i were the Habs. Adding Dubinsky just throws off all the value were getting from Milano and Carlsson. Plus the Habs are giving the best player in the deal and a 2nd rounder? i just don't see it.

Milano is an offensive minded talent that has potential to be a top 6 winger consistently.
Carlsson is a big bodied and can be a shut down Dman. Both of these guys could be controlled by MTL for a good while. Dubi is still a serviceable 3rd or 4th line center with experience and leadership. You may be right, but I don't think it's too far off though. What do you think it takes for us to get Chucky? Thanks for your comment.

I think some of your player retention numbers are a tad optimistic. And I think going for the 2nd as well in that deal might be just a little bit too greedy. wink Wouldn't mind the pickup, tho.

What would be Jenner's asking price?

I really don't know what his asking price would be, I only see him going in a package for a 1C.

I agree that the values above are off. Why pay Calvert, a 4th line player more than Bjorkstrand.
Anderson last year had like 17 goals and got $1,850,000.
I would expect Calvert to either be not tendered an offer or offered only $1.5M.
Bjorkstrand should get Anderson numbers, or only slightly higher, maybe $2M.
Cole is worth more, but would probably sign longer term deal to stay, he seems to fit in, and is gelling well with the team. He should probably be around $3M to $3.2M.
Murray and Letestu are probably spot on in value.
Nutivaara is really good. I was at the game last night and he is very solid positionally, does not get out of position when defending 1 on one coming in with speed, skates well, passes well, and has good vision. I would expect his offer to be around $2.5M bridge deal.
Jenner brings intangibles, but is probably overvalued based on his drop-off in numbers the last 2 years, but would probably get the $3.2M - $3.5M noted above, unless moved in a deal to get another top line Center as you indicate above.
Johnson will not be here next year.
With Cole and the Kids stepping up, he becomes expendable.
