Who do you think has had the best bounce back season?

My vote would go to Connor Hellebyuck. He received a lot of stick last year for being Winnipeg's problem denying them any playoff hopes. The Jets lacked so much confidence in Hellebyuck that they even had to sign Steve Mason. He's rebounded big time this year, a big reason why Winnipeg is a lock for 2nd place in the Central. His numbers are good enough to put him in the Vezina conversation.

Other candidates include: Anze Kopitar, Marc-Andre Fleury, Reilly Smith, Claude Giroux, Matt Duchene, and Dustin Brown.

Reilly Smith IMO. He was tossed away along with Johnathan Audy-Marchessault and a 4th round pick for having a down year, and being overpaid in their eyes. Now, Florida looking even dumber as Smith has been producing at a point per game rate.

Yeah completely agree. I've always liked Smith, I always saw the potential in him in his Boston days being the third wheel on the Marchand - Bergeron line. He has a little bit of everything in him, and as you said he's producing at one of the best rates of his career on one of hockey's most dangerous top lines. For context, he had 37 points on a Florida team that definitley didn't go to the lengths Vegas did to get the most out of him.

Nathan Mackinnon, I know he wasn’t a 80+ point player before last’s years disaster but he had 63 points in his rookie year which is very good and he’s played that way and beyond this season.

The only reason I didn't include MacKinnon in my list, is because despite all the troubles the Avs had, MacKinnon still played really well. His production, obviously, has increased at a crazy rate compared to last year, but he didn't really have a bad season to "bounce back" from. Whereas someone like Hellebyuck was just horrendous last season and has managed to turn it around dramatically.

I guess you can have MacKinnon in this category, but he never really bounced back, he's just improved significantly.

A lot of Vegas's roster, mainly Alex Tuch, William Karlsson, Reilly Smith, Marc-Andre Fleury cry, David Perron, Erik Haula, Shea Theodore, and Malcolm Subban.

David Perron is having a "bounce back career"..... Heck, most of the Vegas players are.
